Rogaine was great fun, collected
e_dan and his gear from Spearwood then stayed marginally within the speed limits out to Wandering. My love for the North Bannister Roadhouse [and their bacon and egg sandwiches] knows no bounds.

Bought more lip balm from a petrol station because I had put my other one in a 'safe place' and found it later when I tried to store the new one in the same location [sigh].
Arrived bright and bouncy for hash house duty and discovered that the Hash Leader's father had died a few days earlier and our newly appointed Leader wasn't feeling very confident. Took over like a taking over thing, shamelessly bullied people for the next 28 hours and they let me and said thank you a lot. Weird. Am very pleased, was my first time leadng, feel team was fabulous.
The very helpful farmer whose land we were using brought a front end loader in and built us a BIG fire which he restocked for us shortly after 6:00am. He also brought his collie 'Fluffy' who sat around the the back of a ute eyeballing the hash house and eventually came out for a sniff around. He found the pit we were putting all the 'slops' in and spent quite some time trying to fill it in for us with his nose.

Amusing moments:
- Admin team asked for a hot water bottle for 'Pebbles' the laptop in the hope the monitor would start working if it warmed up.
- B.; who I know from Primary School; tried to introduce me to
cricketk. It's a small Perth.

[grins] I'll come up and help stomp them out if you wants... and if I'm not up North paddling.
