Spent the entire morning doing paddling related activities. Did F2 Assessment and feel pretty good about it. Did demonstrate many rescues and paddle strokes and can now relax (and get warm).

Took Wendy and Kenobi to South Beach to meet PRK and Jaffar. Wendy and Jaffar expressed themselves quite loudly and thoroughly more than once but I feel it was 99% show. Wendy has a toothmark in her ear though where Jaffar's snapping obviously caught her but given they could both have been covered in teethmarks I suspect it was an accident.

Jaffar and Kenobi fetched balls nobly from the surf until Jaffar found what was quite clearly a lost 'giant dog toy' and attempted to dig it out and chew on it. Silly boy.
Jaffar attempting to unearth the 'giant dog play toy' left at the beach. Jaffar attempting to unearth the 'giant dog play toy' left at the beach.

Visited family and spent time with brothers and mother. Saw the Dockers beat the Eagles by 4 points. Hehe.

I didn't think there was a Spotlight in Subi, I don't fancy hauling over town.

Dogs are the cutest things. My parents' dachsund, Helmut, once saw a cat disappearing down a storm drain, and forever after he has had to investigate every storm drain he sees, just in case...! Bosworth is much the same with gates and fences - he's just gotta see what's behind them.

It was great fun watching them all play. I love being with dogs.

It was great.

Next time, we'll need to bring Bosworth as well!

How did [livejournal.com profile] juffles do when he found out Wendy had a tooth mark in her ear?

Thankfully [livejournal.com profile] juffles also seems to be of the opinion that if the hairy_peril is going to be a pushy bitch then she can cop the consequences.

I think if they had really meant it, it would have involved far more biting and less snarling and snapping.

Groovy, shall definitely have to do that again.

Agreed on the not really meaning it, it was very much a dominance scuffle rather than fear, over protectiveness or outright dislike.

I still think the best showdown was when they were on opposite sides of the stick, facing towards each other, heads down, ears back, teeth bared, and growling.

Gunslingers at high noon came to mind, both waiting for the other to make the first move to grab the stick.

I'm sad I don't have a photo of that moment.
