He has antibiotics and is on a diet of chicken and rice (no complaints from the canine gallery). He tried to shove us out of the way at our front door to get inside to make up for lost time wrestling woofette and seems perky and cheerful.
Phew. Many thanks for the words of comfort.

Give him a good scratching and cuddle from me.

[grin]
He is mostly unconcerned but a bit more inclined to look for laps to cuddle in right now.
We'll have to keep him and woofette apart a bit just to let him rest though 'cos after 30 mins of rough play he is back to cough, cough, cough.

I wish I knew more, we can treat it but I'm not entirely sure how to prevent it.

how far has he come that he can stay overnight at the vets without worrying whether you're coming to pick him up.

I really need to come over and give him some serious attention, like last time (because I suck at co-ordinating my diary and end up working late on housewarming days ...)
I wonder if I can tire him out before my throwing arm pops its socket ...

there's nothing more comforting than the sight of a freshly enthusiastic puppy. It tells you that all is right with the world.
