Kenobi started coughing and hacking on Friday night and escalated to coughing, hacking and puking on Saturday, he was no better this morning so I took him to the vet.

They are keeping him for X-Rays and keeping him hydrated as he can't keep anything down. Am hoping they will find nothing and will be able to keep him healthy while he gets over this or that they will find something (probably half a couch cushion) and will be able to safely operate.

I'm worried.

PS, Mobile phone lost so not exactly answering it.

Meep.

Am pathetic wibbling moppet when woofer is concerned, embarrassed self at vet by telling them he had an abused puppyhood and demanding they cuddle him lots.

sounds perfectly reasonable to me!

After a similar conversation with me, Kali's vets invited me to come and spend time with her every afternoon after her surgery. Much to my pleasure they took as much care of her as I could possibly want.

If I were a vet I would definitely prefer pathetic wibbling moppets to ppl who place their recently operated upon dogs in the back of a ute (as seen during kali's last vet visit)!

Ugh, people have very different attitudes towards dogs.

My guess is a weed he's had a reaction to, as my mother's woofer just went through exactly what you described.

Nevertheless:

*hugs and good thought vibey stuff being sent your--and Kenobi's--way*

I hope so, an allergy would be bad but not as bad as major surgery.

Thank you.

Poor, dear Kenobi. That sounds like the opposite of fun.

I'm worried too.

I hates it when the people closest and most dependent on us are in pain.
How old is the cute semi-fluffy monster?

There's too many things of which coughing and throwing up are symptoms. you've done your best. Here's hoping for more of the same.

He is 4 years old this October and I'm utterly pathetic over him.

still a young 'un then.
IMO, pets are meant to be spoiled. It's their place in life.
