After hitting a 'roo and then a tree I was kinda hoping to build up to maybe running over a bit of grass once in a while.

Alas. I reversed away from a bus that seemed to want my bit of road quite badly and smacked into the (also trying to reverse) lady behind me.

The humans are fine but the vehicles are a little the worse for wear.

[sigh]

The sunrise was most beautiful today.

Oh dear.... you okay?
At least you can this lot onto the repairs from the post of evil. I'm assuming the same area is damaged?

Read 'post of evil' as 'tree of evil'. I tend to think of all collisions with stationary objects = posts (or in some cases car)

Gah. You're not injured, are you? *frets* Hopefully the repairs won't be too dear.

All good!

I have a red smear on my back bumper - Ella (the girl in the car behind me) was not so lucky as the paint came off her bonnet (I have a RAV4 and it is a lot higher than her little car was). Thank goodness I don't have a tow ball.

Shall wait and see how things turn out.

It's only money, have life, love and happiness etc.

I hear running over grass is capable of doing some serious damage to your roof. This must be why most 4WDers are scared of it.

*hug*

Wouldn't it more like the 'surprises' that hide in long grass?
Thinking bricks, rocks, barbed wire and shattered concrete.

No no. Grass. Veeeeerry very dangerous. *waggles finger*

*suddenly has story idea about sentient killer grass*

Sorry to hear about the accident. I'm glad you weren't hurt.

Did you know grass is secretly running the world?

That's why us humans exist; to cut down rainforests, make room for grasses and to serve lawns.

You've been watching David Attenborough documentaries, haven't you? Those blackberry bushes were the scariest things I've ever seen! Triffids, eat your stamens out.

*pats cars, hugs you* I've only done the crunch -- oh, fuck thing once (so far, touch wood!) But, yup, it sucks. Commiserations!

Me too!

Thanks for the love, am not entirely sure how this works as a message from the Universe, something along the lines of "Every moment is precious" I think.

Seriously, are you ok?
Friday, May 6th, 2005 04:32 pm (UTC)
My pride is hurt: I keep running into things!

[big hugs]

I'm OK.

Also, have I told you about the time Mr_BooBoo tried to kill me with a bus?|
Saturday, May 7th, 2005 04:28 am (UTC)
I am assuming she pushed you in front of one.. ?

No she just refused to drive on the side of the road where there weren't buses bearing down on us.

*thinks and rephrases*

She drove on the wrong side of the road towards an oncoming bus accidentally, and after A and I started screaming in terror finally noticed the bus and returned to the right side of the road.

'Twas a bit scary.
