I've never been to the Belvoir Amphitheatre before - it's a big grassy err amphitheatre cut into the side of a hill and turned out to be a very cool venue - you're kinda in the crowd but not - you have your own tier to sit/dance on.

Music was fabulous, warm up acts were Sunshine Boys and King Curly who deserve more love for their witty and charming music.

Cat Empire were bouncy and fun and there was much love, dancing, clapping and waving of arms.

Cigarette smoking is an evil, disgusting, vile habit that should be performed in deep, deep privacy away from other living beings.
Am not keen on this no blankets, no cushions, no food, no drinks policy - perfect place for an afternoon picnic.

Aie, the no food thing was very annoying! but music was great.

I made a beyootiful picnic too - we ate it on the grass next to the car then trooped in.

In retrospect we could have hidden a vast amount of stuff in [livejournal.com profile] juffles's jacket and shall do so in future.
