Kings Park Sunset Cinema on May St.

After much organising and running about like a mad thing at work I made it to Kings Park and the pace improved. I lay on the grass under a tree with my head on a rolled up blanket and read while people in red shirts circled the lake handing out boxes of Pods. Ah happiness.

None of those of us who met there know the meaning of 'under catering' so we had a fabulous feast and admired people arriving in suits with hats.

The Blues Brothers was even funnier than I remember it; John Belushi does some of the finest puppy eyes I've ever seen and I now have to play the soundtrack loudly and re-read Soul Music. By the time we all left we had acquired an amazing amount of Pods and had been circled by the local ducks in a manner that would have been threatening if not for the waddle.

Angoraphobia: Fear of being in a wide open space with a sheep.
