Birdsong like dance, is ephemeral. It exists only in the moment – vanishing as soon as it is sung. A meditative exchange between Indian Kathak dance and Islamic poetry. Spellbinding, spiritual and captivating – the myth of the bulbul is brought to life.

Yiikes, they didn't advertise that this is based on a story where birdsong is tortured out of a bird via captivity, sensory deprivation, and eventually mutilation. It was very pretty fusion dance but also crysturbating torture-porn based on the myth of the tortured artist.
Parking and traffic was something of a challenge and the aircon died in the carpark, alas for the trip home.
