Erm. Horror comedy with an emphasis on comedy. This was a menage of fantastic sets, flamboyant costumes and an opportunity to play ridiculously over the top characters. I had fun, but wanting things to make sense was optimistic.

Depp’s Barnabas Collins is great and the sex scene was hilarious, kudos also to Carter and Pfeiffer who hopefully had a lot of fun making this. I ended up far more interested in the children, and in Green's character Angelique who desperately needed a back story. This coupled with not one, but three women whose entire arc revolved around Barnabas (the witch and two cliff jumping love interests) was a bit disappointing.
