transcendancing for the entertaining SMSs and thank you to prk who accurately predicted Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital emergency department would be the quietest - it took us slightly over an hour and that was us sandwiched between 'bad bee-sting girl' and 'boot to the head man'.
They were terribly nice to us; taped and bandaged A. within an inch of his life and laughed when we told them we were pretending to be transporting a rare fish (A. was a bit self conscious about the bucket of cold water he was hefting - we watered a plant on the way out). The security dude was even nicer when I confessed to having lost the parking tickety thing and let us out for free. Not quite how we wanted to spend our Friday night but good that A. is going to be OK.
