I was about to ask -- can we bounce? Because yeah, if we could bounce without an impact, I'd totally be jumping off things. Although now I'm wondering how far it extends -- I seem to remember Rodney being able to pick things up, but not drink anything, which possibly makes way for Pakour, which I'd be all over like homg.
BASE jumping becomes more common. So common, in fact that the challenge becomes not being hit by someone plummeting from above.
But I think playing dodge'ems in the traffic would be one of the first things that everyone tries.
Bombing/hijacking becomes a thing of the past. "Oh dear, the airliner has just disintegrated at 40,000ft. Blast. I'm going to be late for my meeting. And I'll have to buy a new laptop!" Also, airport screenings become very low-key. leecetheartist just pointed out that the clever passengers in that situation, if close enough to an airport, will try to glide in on their own!
Which leads to a story seed that I'll just toss out there for whatever grabs it:
A cop gets called in in such a world to investigate either an isolated falling death or a rash of other impact-related deaths (car crashes, hit-and-runs, &c).
how deep can I dive? how much oxygen will it hold? or do I have the wrong idea as to what this force bubble will do (no idea of what the SGA one did, as I've only encountered references to it in fandom.)

Well, when it's not 40 degrees and pissing down rain outside, that is.

Swim with sharks! Bodysurf Niagara Falls!
Oh, what I wouldn't do.

Because I've got a twisted mind...
A cop gets called in in such a world to investigate either an isolated falling death or a rash of other impact-related deaths (car crashes, hit-and-runs, &c).

...at the moment, because I am so short sighted without my glasses, I tend to stick to the shallows.
Also, I would be more assertive with scary people (because I wouldn't be afraid of them being violent.)

And yes, I totally second you on being more assertive with scary people.
