All-OTW from 11pm to 1am and then AD&T from 8am to 9:30am (they let me sleep in, bless them)
- Co-location: Ordered servers, many MANY thanks to every person who donated the money and worked to make this day possible. Am ridiculously pleased and excited, have never seen this much (well deserved) enthusiasm over such small pieces of tech. Now we wait for them to arrive at co-location facility, wait for System to do OS install and Archive migration and pounce on it for some exhaustive testing. *gloats* I am gonna have to make a new icon...
- Deploy schedule: Still on for mid September!
- Bookmarks poll is live! Go vote and express an opinion
- Search: If I can’t talk some clever designer into doing a complete re-design on Search then I’ll settle for restricting the number of works returned and a polite note requesting the searcher narrow down their search terms a bit (you don’t want 5,000 results, really you don’t and the database will appreciate you not trying to get them)
- Abuse: I’m finally getting down to working on the Abuse interface now that I have some time and it’s great to be able to see some progress. This will hopefully be my last design task, I am trying frantically to delegate all non-chair tasks as I build up to going back to university, despite accusations to the contrary I do sleep :p
- Display all fandoms on one page: We get a lot of requests for this and I can see why, I want it too. We think we could maybe load all fandoms within a media category – so you’d still only see all TV or all Movies. We’ll be looking at how to make that work better if we have time before Open Beta – if not it’s on the list for future enhancements
- Open Beta: Still on for October – we’ll do us a news post about it in the next few weeks and try to answer some questions around it
- CSS Coders: We need you! If you have an urge to be able to view the AO3 while using Internet Explorer we want you BADLY, contact volunteers or sidle up and talk to me (or any of my fabulous committee)

Latest update is that HP website lied about the HDD we wanted being available so we're doing some last minute scrambling. This is not a smooth path!

The Organization for Transformative Works (http://transformativeworks.org/) (OTW) is a non profit body that aims to protect and preserve fanworks and fannish culture.
The committee I chair; Accessibility, Technology, and Design (AD&T) is a committee of the OTW that is responsible for, funnily enough Accessibility, Technology, and Design. We are a software development project branch and our current project is The Archive if Our Own (http://archiveofourown.org/) which is in Closed Beta - it is a fanfiction software archive.
