Woke up spontaneously at 6:32am for 7am Sunday meeting – crazy I know.

1. Co-location - we keep running up against obstacles and the sane part of me knows we’ll just keep patiently chiselling away because we want the best possible deal; the impatient part is making fists of doom at the sky.
2. We’ve finalised the Invitations Code design which is brilliant (that we agreed on it although I think the design is pretty nifty too :p). This has been fascinating, I don’t know if we should be planning to apologetically hold off a horde of people who want accounts (too many people!), or planning to carefully nurture users who want to invite their friends (not enough people!) so we’re trying to design for both scenarios. We took out some stuff we probably don’t need then kicked around whether to have a ‘Request more invitations’ function and decided we want it. I figure people are going to want to ask and this gives a pathway; I don’t want people emailing 11 different people and getting 11 different answers.
• disadvantage of needing someone to administer it which could be time-intensive
• advantage of having a standard response to queries
• advantage of having a way to administer what I suspect will be inevitable requests that then need to be managed
3. We also put the Administration interface for the Abuse team on the Open Beta list – we’re refining the requirements list right now – I’ll start developing the final design shortly then run it by the Abuse team for feedback. While poking around the Test Archive I found this amusing abuse report written back when Abuse1.0 was coded: “I'd like to report all the Serenity and Star Wars writers for pushing Blades of Glory off the main Fandoms screen. I feel abused and sad. (aka testing, one, two ...)”
4. Next deploy is planned for the 3rd of July, it’s got the new code for being able to individually date chapters on works as well as a bunch of other fixes

I've been off for a few days, and missed this. Saturday was Mum's wedding, which killed me CFS-wise and made me sick, but I'm feeling okay-ish now. Now, to catch up!

Yes, there are, but they weren't taken by me (since I was being ordered around by the photographers). I will hunt them down soon as possible :).

Calling it 'Admin - Abuse' may have been a mistake - people keep wilfully misunderstanding me!

You could start calling it Admin/Abuse - I'm sure no one would ever willfully misunderstand that. ;)

Argh! Have wedding photos, look like corpse bridesmaid. Mum is really stunning though.

Chosen Photo 1 --- I'm closest to the bride, the girl next to me is my step-sister, best man is my brother, and next to him is my little step-brother. The speaker is reading a chosen piece of verse.

Chosen Photo 2 --- Er, James (my brother) was a bit close during the ceremony, but this is a nice clear one :).
