Dear all, the lovely sassamifrass and partner's kitchen + housemoving boxes burned up just as they and their cat moved house and they are in need of a lot of basics revised list as quickly as possible.

If there are things you can offer that would make things easier for them, that would be awesome. I will happily transport stuff if you need me to.

For the record, I am also available to ferry stuff to them. I live in Willetton and work not too far from their new house, and will probably be stopping in to visit them pretty frequently in the near future.

I've got an eggbeater and a wooden spoon here -- don't need you to transport stuff, because I work with The Wendy, but I'm just putting that out there so we don't get double-ups of things (I was going to give her a can opener, but someone has beaten me to it!). I was talking to my boss today, and he says that someone's already offering a microwave, so I think that's taken care of too.

We live in Bayswater and can't do transport so I will understand if noone can be bothered picking this up, but we have:

casserole dish (1 microwave, one pyrex)
Metal spatula

soaps etc (unopened present from Body Shop :))

Season 1 &2 of Stargate, Hot Fuzz, Bourne Identity, Die Hard

Also as it happens a HUGE bag of size 12 women's clothes, but I get the feeling that's no use at all.

:O That stuff would be fantastic.

A lot of my clothing is sooty, but probably salvageable. Some of my clothes were wrapped around fragile kitchen items, so they are burned, but I don't know what I've lost yet.

I'm between sizes at the moment, approximately a 13, but clothes might actually be a real help because they would not smell of smoke and soot :) I seem to have been shedding weight from the stress so I may be a 12 in a week :P Whee, need to lose weight? Suffer some trauma! Hurray!
