Kicked off in Perth at Metro last night. Of the two support bands, The Silents had a lot of the problems young bands have (including the inevitable anti-eye-contact hair shields) but I would cheerfully have seen Children Collide for their own merit.
The Living End were was high energy and awesome. I spend the first half in the mosh bouncing up and down surrounded by men doing that 'we love each soooooo much' neck grabbing thing (I love them when they do that). Then once I was out of breath, wet through and getting all squished I headed upstairs to enjoy them from a slightly safer distance.
