  • Woke up still on Daylight Savings Time because body likes routine - stayed in bed.
  • Donated sweat at the gym, sky made reverse donation - all that rain left me a bit giddy.
  • Glue-gunned tiny holes in back porch roof - no more leaks!
  • Showered.
  • It rained in [livejournal.com profile] maharetr's bedroom - spent 15 minutes in the ceiling playing 'giant spider' on the support beams, cursing and installing a tarp. My ceiling cobwebs taste awful.
  • Showered again - considered burning clothes.
  • Visited Father for 5 minutes, found brothers, step-sister and plans to watch football.
  • Watched Western Derby - Father insists on supporting Eagles when all his progeny are Fremantle supporters (we won \o/).
  • Step-grandfather died on Friday - was not close to him. It's been a year and 10 months since my grandmother died. I am not surprised.
  • Was given furniture and cushions as a token of fatherly love - or rabid fake_spring cleaning urges.
  • Crawled around on roof - can't solve leaking problem without technical advice. Damn.
  • Collected [livejournal.com profile] cupidsbow and traded gossip for songvids. Good deal.

That's a bummer about the roof. Water is a mysterious thing.

Thank you *so* much for diverting my leak. *loves*

"Donated sweat at the gym, sky made reverse donation - all that rain left me a bit giddy."

I love the way that you put things. Thanks for a chuckle.

It loves [livejournal.com profile] maharetr and wants to be close to her - luckily it's uncoordinated and didn't quite get her bed.

Thank you! I think we were all a bit euphoric when the rain came - big smiles and bouncy people - or just the kind of people who get up on a Saturday morning to work out.

I wouldn't even dare go up in my ceiling. All I know about it is that it definitely contains the remains of some decomposed rats.

*g* That's not a nice thought!

I can tell you with authority that I have cobwebs, dust, more cobwebs, some insulation, wires, pipes and a long stick with what appears to be a peanut butter lid taped to it. Oh and cobwebs.
