I’m feeling the love. I’m also feeling the feeling you feel after a lot of sticky blood dripped everywhere. Yick!

Lucy, you were adorable and far brighter than Harmony – is ‘Lucy’ a Dracula reference by any chance? I do appreciate all these little opportunities to get more out of the show when you know the reference.

Bela, Bela I love you like crazy. Your stand off with Gordon was beautiful and I really want to know more about your issues – or did you just get a subscription? I love your snarky exchanges with Dean and Sam and oh god you have attitude. You function as a source of exposition a little more elegantly than the Roadhouse did and I also like you as a person – please to be developing a little more back story when you can.

Oh Dixon, you were a bit unsubtle with your issues and their parallels to Dean but poor Dean isn’t very subtle either and lets face it, has to be hit over the head a few times before things sink in. I did like your twisted grief and the ‘human’ face you put on contrasted very nicely with Gordon. I would have been more impressed with your family values if you had targeted something other than pretty, dumb, blonde girls. Heaven forbid you pick yourself a new younger brother and best mate.

Gordon, you were a fabulous adversary and I will miss you. I wanted you leading a howling mob after the Antichrist and his wisecracking sidekick but I am going to trust that Supernatural has more up its collective writing sleeves to throw at our boys.

Dean, you are hilarious, unspeakably heroic and your car fixing tutorial was very touching.

Sam, I love how you acknowledged that Gordon wasn’t going to be stopped by anything other than murder, and how honest you were with Dean. You were getting a bit distant in recent episodes and I was starting to worry about that. I’m also horribly impressed by the whole decapitating a vampire with some wire thingy.

That decapitation was a bit brutal wasn't it, or was it the look on Sam's face as he did it?

I'm glad to see the back of Gordon, he was, after all, due for death. He was a little too single-minded for me and there was a danger of much repetition had he remained.

Bela is looking good, she kicks ass, is mean and helps nudge the show up another notch.

The whole episode was! Lucy smeared in blood! Gordon tearing heads off!

Oh Gordon, that whole 'you'll have to kill me, but not before I kill Sam Winchester' scene was vibrating with tension.

This new attitude of Sam I'm taking less as his not being entirely Sam and more as moving out from being the protected kid brother and into taking equal responsibility for the difficult decisions. Sam has spent a lot of time learning to see Dean as a person and not just as John's soldier boy - this is Dean getting to see Sam as a grown up as well.

I really like Bela, I've speculated that the only romantic interest who would work with Dean would the be Spike/Faith equivalent - someone with a strengths and a history but if the show doesn't go there I'll be happy with her giving them shit and acting as a very pretty info-dump.
