gekizetsu aka eighth_horizon. Gekizetsu wrote a series starting with Salvation which I think of as the 'definitive Supernatural futurefic' in the same way that synecdochic's Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose seemed to nail some small part of the collective Stargate Atlantis fandom's soul. I re-read it a lot. There are some delightfully whimsical stories, serious tales, horror and strangely plausible crack scattered throughout her website and I encourage you to delve if you haven't already.
Salvation (Gen, PG) is a good starting point for engaging with The Salvation Futureverse (also contributed to by![[info]](https://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
maygra ) which is now attempting to take over the world. 3,710 words a good 20 years in the future where everything is different but some things remain the same. Still brothers, still sharing, still helping each other through.
The Turn of the Wheel series (Not exactly Gen and not exactly Wincest, R) A wingfic/elemental story that started off light and took on a life of it's own. One chapter pending. Made me laugh then got serious and complicated. Dean is bitchslapped by an elemental and it's Sam who has to cope.
Deliberation (Gen, PG-13) The Sam leaves for Stanford scene - one of the best ever written.
Loved and put aside (Gen, PG-13) Horror and I mean it, I was horrified. Sam and Dean investigate a housing estate and find something they haven't seen before. Sometimes the little things are too much to handle.
Pillow Talk (Gen PG-13) and the slash version Pillow Talk (Wincest, R). These are both hilarious and sweet.
Expiration date (Gen, PG) Humor, Dean knows how to battle zombies.
By Agreement (Gen, PG) Dean still has insurance on the impala, Sam still hates ducks.

11,402. AU crack. Dean accidentally bodyswaps with Jess on their birthday - clearly Jess needs a better boyfriend... someone tall, dark-haired and geeky. Oh Dean.
