I've only seen a bit of Dylan Moran on TV, but he looked good. You must be getting soem of the comics post-Melb comedy festival. I saw a few shows, Daniel kitson was a highlight. Wil Anderson, who i ussually like, had a brittle cruelness about him that i didn't like PLUS he used some material which was straight from the Internet!!

I loved, loved, loved Black Books which was his baby.

He gave us a hard time for being so far away from EVERYTHING while living in a totally inhospitable country with lot of things that want to kill us then gradually moved on to talking about being alive, in love and a parent and was generally very funny.

Comedy of cruelty is not my thing.

Oooh were you at the Tuesday night one? I was there too. I thought it was funny, although yes sometimes uncomfortable. There were a few things that I'd heard before on 'Monster' and other vids of him, but overall it was the hilarity that I expected.
