That was the old Dean, the one who played his role of overprotective older brother to the hilt, and that wasn’t him anymore. He’d learned his lesson the hard way. Sam didn’t meet his eyes, so he must have known what Dean would have said. If he was still hovering. Which he wasn’t.

23,600. Romance, deftly handled, anguish-free. I have no idea what church groups are like but this has a very sweet feeling to it. Jensen loves his church, his youth group, and the Sunday school class he and Jared teach together. He also loves Jared, and not in a way the church would approve. He prays to be changed, to be normal, but when that doesn't work, he embraces his feelings for Jared and tries to find new ways to be faithful.

On the day before Milo Ventimiglia’s wedding, a bachelor party goes horribly wrong, resulting in a city-wide search for a missing groom, a pair of dedicated cops on the chase, a tattoo of the initials ‘JA’ surrounded by dancing cartoon penises, and a quest to find a mysterious woman named “Vida.” Good thing Jared gets to meet a stunning actor whom he may or may not have slept with the night before, or the day would be a total bust.

This is actually one of the works that made me realise I should read the first page of every bigbang regardless, because I am kicking myself for not reading it last year. Science fiction at its finest, lovely world building and a story that makes my heart ache - but in the good way.
