Woofer update

They've shaved his chest (which is very unsexy) and his left ankle (which is just weird) and he looks both hilarious and pitiful. I have little plastic socks for when he wants to go outside.

He can stump around OK and seems to be fine about being waited on hand and paw and not being allowed to go anywhere. Less fine about the fabulous selection of tablets to take but I think the painkillers are a good idea. Had to decrease the size of the little pen I've made in the corner after he got curious about the outside world and simply leapt out. How I do not know, it's not like his legs bend right now.

Read Write Now end of year lunch

Left the woofer for two hours to have lunch with the tutors from my region, was possibly the youngest by 15 years. There was a lot of race oriented conversation that left me feeling vaguely icky so I ended up stealing the conversation to talk travel and pets. I like them very much but it's a demographic totally dominated by elderly, white females.
