Supposed to be Russia's answer to The Matrix but more like Russia's answer to Underworld.
Surreal and disjointed; Anton Gorodetsky discovers he is an 'Other' when he approaches a witch to perform dark magic on his unfaithful wife and is interrupted by the supernatural equivalent of the cops. He makes a choice 'between Darkness and Light' and spends the next 12 years leading a seedy cop life; policing the forces of Darkness.
A random woman curses herself and sets in train preparations for the Final Battle.
Anton finds himself strangely drawn to a child he rescues from two vampires and repelled by his tactic of using 'live bait' to hunt Dark Others who break the Truce.
