Luvly weekend, much reading and general homeness.
Went to IKEA with
ascetic_hedony and bought even more shelves - much assembling and stacking took place. Evil_shelves came with 4 screws missing but massive collection of hardware-type crap in jars fixed that little problem.
Bath. Loooooooooooooooong bath.
Right elbow thoroughly munched, no more ball throwing, push-ups or punching until it's better, bought one of those handy thermoskin thingies from a terribly nice man who coaxed me out of my nice warm jacket and measured my elbow for me. Phrenology for the elbows?
Death of a Darklord by Laurell K. Hamilton. Oh Laurell, Laurell - what were you thinking? Rarely is a book quite so bad, rarely are so many elements so promising and yet so not. I am going to assume that writing for TSR's Ravenloft series takes away the pressure to write well. All I can recommend is: Just Say No! On the plus side, www.laurellkhamilton.org has a nifty little series of bat icons that follow the cursor = cute!
