Despite noble attempts from Denzel Washington and Meryl Streep, this needed more love. The prettiness that was Leiv Schreiber helped a lot and I was quite happy to curl up in a dark theatre and enjoy the ride.I'm not sure if this was meant to be the triumph of the human spirit over brainwashing, the triumph of the noble FBI over global capitalism or just the triumph of Meryl Streep over all the stupid people.
A unit goes missing for three days during the gulf war. When they are found they tell a story of heroism on the part of Sergeant Raymond Shaw who later uses this to boost himself to become a vice presidential nominee. His commanding officer Major Ben Marco has dreams of a very different three days and is driven to investigate.
