Injured again [sigh]
Shoulder rotator cuff impingement.
No sport for two weeks; have paid a physiotherapist to hurt me and give me new exercises to do... again.
Physio also said nice things about my upper body strength for which I am choosing to forgive the excruciating shoulder massage.

OW!
good luck with the physio - hope you are back paddling v. soon :-/
Love the icon btw - was lamenting to a colleague earlier today that a Perth friend is out on the Swan River rather regularly and I was not. Has the cold hit Perth at all? I keep getting small freezing catnose placed against my neck when I get home in the evenings - apparently she is freezing and determined to share!
Re: OW!
I've had two hot water bottle and socks nights so far. Why is it always the left sock that betrays me by the way?
Thanks, it's not my photo (http://www.wilderness.org.au/regions/australia/on_the_trail_May06/?nid=2&loc=2) but it captures how I feel about paddling.

It's a bit better today and I faithfully did my exercises this morning, high hopes for tomorrow.

Or maybe it's just all you highly active people who are too intelligent to know your own limits *g*
