• Two of my beautiful yarn purchases arrived so we broke in maharetr 's ball winder. Now all I need is some 2-3mm circs and I'm good to start knitting again. Will use the Cerise - Hand dyed Wool-Cashmere Laceweight Yarn for my test knit then the Luxury Iris Lace Pure Silk Yarn - Hot OOAK for my final.
• Big OTW week, Seven weeks so far… emotional labour significant. Thank goodness for cupidsbow who is thoughtful and calm at me.
• Up to Ep 05 in Elementary, still enjoying it a lot.
• Need to find time to watch Ep 03 of Bletchley Circle
• Played a lot of Kingdom Rush
• Have now seen a lot of rings - some preferences developing. Explained to father this is probably the closest I will ever come to being engaged / married - he is v. supportive although a bit weirded out.
• Not as weirded out as the dude in the jewellers who asked what we wanted the rings for (engagement! marriage!) and who was getting them (all of us!) and then finally worked out we wanted them similar or themed.

Good reminder :) I am a beater of rings. I can't wear wristwatches and have probably more than my fair share of scars on my hands.

I favour something flat-ish that will wear well. This is going to be interesting for me because in hot weather I can't bear to wear any jewellery at all and most of the time I only wear it at work. It's going to have to be something I *love*
