I just had a cold and I blame my uncharacteristically down state of mind. I hadn't been sick in over five years and it was a blow to my ego!

Honey, there should really be some garlic in there somewhere too!

I had to de-crystallise it on the stove and poor maharetr had to turn it off behind me twice when I forgot it.

Gah, [hug] you have my sympathy. I get a -little- bit sick most years bu it's usually something I shrug off in a couple of days.

Perhaps it was a mistake to teach you how to use the stove properly. [grin]

Mum's making rice pudding this evening, and we found that the favourite rice pudding dish had a crack in it. There was grieving, and we've switched to a caserole dish, but I think there's going to have to be shallow dish shopping very soon.

Am looking forward to Thursday night, and only partly because then I'll be one-interview-one-exam done and over... *drags self back to study*

I'm not feeling very foody, prk very kindly brought round chinese last night and even more kindly let me have all chilli, lemon and garlic dishes.

I'm all about the Sky Captain love right now.

I hate being sick more than anything - well almost anything. Dead would be something i would probably hate more.. okay there are a few things i hate more than being sick, but sick is certainly up there.

So i hope you get better soon babe. Oh - and add Zinc to your list. I read a report once upon a time many moons ago that Zinc not only boosted your immune system but it also somehow made it harder for the virus to replicate. Meaning the seriousness of the sickness was less along with the time that you had it.
