The Comedy Of Errors
Shakespeare WA is doing The Tempest, The Comedy of Errors and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) and may have referred to it as 'the good, the Bard, and the ugly - you decide which is which.'
Shakespeare in Kings Park. We did a group booking, ordered a lot of pizza and met with our assorted picnic blanket collection and arroted cushions. It's a great opportunity to have a picnic and loll about on a hillside under the trees which I don't nearly enough of.
The Comedy of Errors was fun, it's an 80s version tweaked for Perth with ridiculous over the top performances. I haven't timed out on this play yet (I think I'm 'done' for A Midsummer Night's Dream), it's still funny and interesting and this performance was attended by two Auslan interpreters who were almost more interesting to watch than the performance.
